The door
There is no browsing without an active course. That single rule removes the drive-by accounts every open network has to police — if you are inside, you are learning something, and we know which course.
Safety
Written for the parent, teacher or guardian doing the deciding. Everything below is a rule we enforce, not an aspiration.
Safety
Moderation here isn’t a settings page nobody opens. It is the reason the door exists at all — and it is why a parent can hand this to their child and walk away.
Nothing reaches the public feed unchecked. Automated screening runs first, and anything it flags goes to a person before it appears anywhere.
Review queue
Messages arrive as requests. Nobody reaches your inbox until you say yes — and before you decide you can see their course, how long they have been learning, and everything they have posted.
Message request
“Saw your fare tracker — how did you handle the offline sync?”
Every account is tied to an active course. Lurkers, burner accounts and bots have nothing to hide behind, because there is nothing to hide behind.
Who gets an account
No infinite scroll and no algorithm optimising for time spent. We make money from subscriptions, so keeping your child scrolling is worth nothing to us.

There is no browsing without an active course. That single rule removes the drive-by accounts every open network has to police — if you are inside, you are learning something, and we know which course.
Every public post passes automated screening for nudity, violence, self-harm, hate speech and contact-sharing. Anything flagged goes to a human before it appears. Nothing publishes on a delay you can exploit.
Anyone with an active course can send you a message request, and you can send one too — this works like the social apps you already use. The difference is that nothing lands in your inbox until you accept it, and before you decide you can see the requester's course, how long they have been learning, and everything they have posted. Verified recruiter accounts cannot send requests to anyone under 18.
You choose who you follow and who you connect with. We do not auto-suggest adults to minors, and we do not surface a minor's profile to accounts they have no learning overlap with.
No infinite scroll, no engagement-optimised ranking, no ads sold against attention. The feed is chronological and it ends. We make money from subscriptions, so keeping someone scrolling is not worth anything to us.
Every post, profile and message has a report action. Reports involving a minor are triaged first. Accounts that break the rules lose their course access, which means they lose the network entirely.
Questions
Mostly from parents, and mostly about safety. Nothing here is a policy we aspire to.

That is the point of the door. Every account is tied to an active course, so there are no anonymous lurkers. Every post is moderated before it goes public. And no conversation starts without your child accepting it first.
Nobody, until your child says yes. Messages arrive as requests, the way they do on the apps they already use. Everyone who can send one has an active course and a visible learning history, so your child can see exactly who is asking before deciding. Recruiter accounts cannot send requests to under-18s at all.
Yes. No course, no feed — that is the whole model. Finish a course and you keep access while you start the next one.
Yes. One course, your cliq, and the feed are free forever. No card, no trial countdown. Pro unlocks every course, live study rooms and project reviews.
Founders and hiring managers join as verified accounts and can browse public profiles and projects. They cannot message learners under 18, and they cannot post to the general feed.
Lessons download for offline use, so you can learn on the bus and sync when you're back on data. The feed and study rooms need a connection.
A full day of lessons is under 5MB. We build for mid-range Android on mobile data, not for a laptop on office wifi.
You get something better: shipped projects and a public profile that people who hire are already looking at.
Pick a course, get matched, and post your first build this week. It runs in your browser — nothing to install.
